Are onlinevents Workshops & Library recognised by BACP as valid hours for their CPD requirements?

YES! All of the onlinevents live events, library recordings and experiential workshops meet the BACP Register's definition of CPD which is:

The Register defines CPD as "Any learning experience that can be used for the systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of competence, knowledge and skills to ensure that the practitioner has the capacity to practise safely. effectively and legally within their evolving scope of practice. It may include both personal and professional development".

You can read the definition and find more information about the BACP Register’s requirements for CPD on this link

The BACP Register requires all members to commit to:

  • Keeping an up-to-date and accurate record of your CPD activities using the template below
  • Recording a range of CPD activities relevant to your current or future practice
  • Showing clearly how you have reflected, planned, actioned and evaluated your development needs, and how this will have an impact on your practice
  • Submitting your CPD record to us on request

With this in mind we have created a learning log within the onlinevents website so that onlinevents members can keep an up to date and accurate record of CPD activities. We have created the log in a way that helps members reflect on, action and evaluate development needs so that there is a direct impact on practice.

We have created the learning log to be as similar as possible to the template that the BACP register requires. The learning log is designed to be easily downloadable and then the entries can be copied and pasted onto the BACP register template.
