I am a counsellor and psychotherapist in private practice. I'm also the manager of a counselling training department in a large Further Education (FE) college in Manchester, with around 400 students from levels 2 to 5 annually. Our level 5 programme was recently accredited by PACP, making us the only FE college in the Greater Manchester area to run a BACP-accredited programme.

Personal interests include using counselling theory as a branch of social science; and positioning counselling as an aesthetic experience - a form for exploring the meaning of, and gaining insight into, ontology and spirituality in individuals and groups.
