I am a psycho-sexual and relationship therapist working in private practice in Scarborough and also for Relate North East. I'm part of the Relate response team for Relate Central office working with live chat, telephone, and webcam counseling.

I'm very passionate about my work and have a professional interest in the impact on relationships when there is a long term illness diagnoses. I speak at conferences on the importance of talking about the sexual relationship and how to bring the subject up with patients and discuss how they can help. The talks have included Diabetes UK, women's health care days for practice nurses, and palliative care. I also speak at Macmillan well-being days to survivors and their families.

My aim in my practice is to help clients get to a 'good enough' sex life of whatever that means to them and also to not focus on the destination but to enjoy the journey more.
