I'm a Senior Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Newman University in Birmingham, UK where I also live. I am also a UKCP registered psychotherapist, Certified Transactional Analyst, and BABCP accredited CBT therapist. I have been in clinical practice for 11 years and for most of that time, have worked for the UK National Health Service in areas of high socio-economic depravation. Outside of work, I have a keen amateur interest in both sociology and philosophy, both of which inform my approach to therapy.
