Thinking About Online Group Supervision In The Context Of A Process Model: The Whole Is Greater Than The Sum Of Its Parts – Philippa Weitz

January 22 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm GMT

Philippa Weitz

Event Details

I have developed a new model for working with online supervision groups, developing it from Inskipp and Proctors Supervision Alliance Model, modifying the normative, formative, and restorative dimensions for the online supervision group context, and adding two additional dimensions: digital and relational. In this model, I call on the supervisee to challenge and be challenged, and make a case for all online supervisors to be thoroughly trained. All my supervision sessions are anchored in the 2018 BACP Ethical Framework, as required.

About Philippa Weitz

I am interested in the success of the online therapeutic relationship, security, confidentiality, & jurisdiction as well as the use of virtual reality and artificial intelligence in therapeutic settings.

Most of all, I want to inspire therapists to simply go beyond turning on their webcams and thinking that is online therapy. There is such an exciting world out there for the online therapist ..... as big as the capacity of our mind to explore beyond what we are comfortable with.

So, what are my formal roles?
