Live from Two Ash Stables: An Experience of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy – Alexandra Graves & Jonathan Browne

We created an experience of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) by connecting live to Alexandra Graves, one of the psychotherapists at Two Ash Stables along with the therapeutic herd and Jonathan Browne one of the equine specialists.

We facilitated the opening experience of an EAP session which is an observation based activity where the client simply watches the herd perhaps with an question to focus on. This followed by time to reflect on and process the client’s initial experience of the horses, bringing awareness to any projections, transference and mirroring.
