Alexandre F. Gieseke

I am a Senior Counsellor/Psychotherapist & GBC Psychologist with over 21 years (over 13,500 hours) of practice with most areas of counselling (ie: couple, individual, group, adult, children, and young people) in private, NOGs, and public settings - including managerial posts. I also offer guidance to care residential teams on looking at the young people behaviour and together devising strategies for improvement. I have been a member of the BPS (British Psychological Society) and BACP - CYP Division (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy - Children, Young People and Families division) for over 9 years. I have joined BAPCA (British Association for the Person Centred Approach) over a year. My qualifications include a GBC level in Psychology (studied in Brazil) which is similar to a Taught Master Degree Level in UK.

As a trainer, I have presented and delivered several different seminars and workshops in both countries – Brazil and England, which topic underpinned amongst others, the children and young people with risks of offending behaviour and/or "Looked After Child."

I am currently doing my (second) Master; this time in a UK University (Strathclyde University).
