2017 Conference Catch Up
It has been a very busy year at onlinevents already!
As well as our ongoing weekly programme of events we have also hosted 7 conferences with contributions from more than 40 colleagues!
The conferences contain conversations, presentations and even role plays so you can see the skills and qualities of the experienced and professional practitioner.
All of this has been captured as a video and an audio recording and placed in our library so that you can watch and listen at a time and in a place that is best for your learning. The recordings are complemented with PDF guides that contain the resources referred to by the colleague in their conference session.
You will be able to log your learning and use this as part of your ongoing professional development. Each of the recordings also come with a CPD Certificate and access to our learning log so that you can write up your learning right there on the page. At the end of your learning year, you will be able to view a record of all the events you have watched and a detailed description of your learning in a form that can easily be submitted to your professional association.
We are so confident in the quality of our library, the breadth and the depth of the learning resources, that we are also offering a 90 day money back guarantee. Use the library for the full 90 days, engage with the resources, watch the video, listen to the audio, download the Resource Guides and complete the learning logs and if you still feel that the library hasn't delivered enough value for you. Let us know and we will refund your payment within 7 days, no questions asked! This is a no quibble guarantee!

We record all of our events in front of a live online audience and then post the recording in our library for our members to view. This is by far the most popular way for colleagues to engage with the learning that we offer as the video can be viewed at a time and place most convenient to them.
The way that we consume video has changed in favour of a catch up model and we are really proud to be able to offer over 500 hours of 'catch up' learning!
Click the video on this page to view a clip from a recent event and experience our online learning process.
We know that not everyone is going to sit and watch a video for an hour so we also publish all of our events as an audio only resource so that you can take your learning with you and experience it on the move.
This is ideal for colleagues who are using a smartphone and a data connection as they can easily listen to the audio recording while they are walking, running and even swimming!
Many of the colleagues who use our library are also in training as practitioners, doing further training to advance their skill set or writing professional articles. All of these activities need to have their sources referenced and for this reason, we include a suggested reference for each recording posted in our library.
Members can simply copy and paste the reference, providing it is in the format required for the piece of writing they are engaged in, and change the "last accessed" date in the reference.
Following each of our events, we publish a Resource Guide which we send to our mailing list and post on our library pages.
Our Resource Guides are packed with information shared by the colleagues who have contributed to our programme. To give you a sense of just how much the Resource Guide's contain, we have attached one to this page. Just click on the button marked "Download Resource Guide" and look for the downloaded PDF document on your device.
The Resource Guide that you will download is from the event "Vicarious Trauma and Compassion Fatigue – The Challenge of ‘Second Hand Shock’" that we recently completed with Anthea Millar at our Working with Trauma Conference. You will see that Anthea has allowed us to publish her Powerpoint, the list of publications she referred to in the event and also a link to her website that contains even more resources!
