Sponsor a seat

We are pioneering a new way of funding events! In such difficult financial times we feel its important that practitioners are not excluded from Continuing Professional Development on the basis of financial circumstances which is why we offer free access to the live broadcast of most of our events.

We now want to go further and offer free access to the venue. In order to do this we are pioneering a "Sponsor a Seat" option where we invite individuals and companies to pay the cost of having one person at the conference and then we can offer that seat to conference participants free of charge. The Point Hotel Edinburgh is offering their conference centre for the "Working with Children & Young People" conference without charge as part of their ongoing support of Simpson House. The conference will still need to meet the cost of lunch and refreshments which we hope to do with your help as a sponsor.

You might have an upcoming course or conference to promote or you might be looking to expand your supervision practice, this is a great way to have your message displayed to the audience in the room and the audience viewing online who are located all over the globe! You dont even have to be in the mental health field to sponsor a seat, if your have a product or service that would benifit our conference participants we would love to hear from you.

When you sponsor a seat you will have your logo displayed on the seating plan, once for each seat that you sponsor. Your logo will click through to your website and can be directly linked to the service or product you would like conference participants to know about. We will be producing a programme for the conference that will be handed to the venue audience on the day and emailed out to all of the online audience, all of the sponsors will be listed in the programme.

Before the conference, during the breaks and at the end of the conference we will be showing a video with all of the sponsors logos and websites, this will be seen by the venue audience and the online audience. The video will be on a loop so that sponsors will be seen by participants multiple times.

The conference chair will also draw attention to the sponsors details on the programme at the beginning and the end of the conference.

Sponsors will also be invited to include an A4 leaflet with the conference programme. The leaflet will be included in the PDF file that will be sent to all the online delegates, sponsors will need to send an electronic copy of their leaflet at least 7 days before the event starts. To be included in the conference pack offered to delegates attending the venue, sponsor's will need to send 120 leaflets by post arriving at least 7 days before the event begins, we will not be responsible for leaflets that do not arrive on time. Please note that we will be able to print your leaflets but this will incur an extra cost.

You can see from the seating plan below that we now have three sponsors allowing us to offer 50 seats. Our first sponsor, Bob Cooke of the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy has very generously sponsored 41 seats. Creating a Change has sponsored another 5 seats and Just my Typist has sponsored 4 seats. We really appreciate the support of these forward thinking companies to help us pioneer a new way of funding events!
